Work and education

Walter Belgers studied Information Technology at the Technical University of Eindhoven, he also followed extra courses such as Computer criminality (University of Tilburg). Walter started at Philips C&P in 1994 (currently known as Atos Origin) where he rolled-out and developed world-wide firewall services. After that he spend several years teaching UNIX and internet security at AT Computing. In 2002 he joined Madison Gurkha and became partner. Besides his Technical consultancy activities Walter also writes articles and columns, gives lectures and acts as a press informant. Walter is a certified security professional (CISSP) and security auditor (CISA).
