March 25 - Slides Black Hats Sessions Online
The "Black Hats Sessions VI: Hacking for profit" were a big success. About 200 visitors could learn more about the dark sides of the Internet and how to protect oneself against it. Scott McIntyre of XS4ALL told us more about Botnets and Phising. Pieter de Boer of Madison Gurkha gave insight in the techniques behind Rootkits: how do they hide and how to find them. Tim Hemel (Madison Gurkha) took us to the world of Cross Site Scripting (XSS), XSRF en other "one click" attacks. last but not least, Gerhard de Koning Gans (Raboud Universiteit) proved to be a wothy replacement of Adam Laurie who sadly could not make it. Gerhard elaborated on RFID security and showed how easy it is to clone or modify some RFID cards. Ofourse, Gerhard spoke about the recent RFID research of the Radboud Universitity in which he participated.

June 21 - Column NetOpus
The magazine NetOpus publishes a new column (IPv6 and mobility, in Dutch) by Walter Belgers, which he writes as the president of the organisation NLUUG.
May 22 - TIAS MSIM
Hans Van de Looy will cover some major practical aspects of technical security audits and penetration testing. This presentation and demonstration is part of the module Forensics and legal aspects of security of this Master of Information Security Management course.
May 16 - Column NetOpus
The magazine NetOpus publishes a column by Walter Belgers, which he writes as the president of the organisation NLUUG. Currently, three columns have been published in the editions January/February (More for less), March (Vista or open source?) and April (Safe programming). They are all in Dutch.

Dutch newspaper 'De Volkskrant' publishes an article about the Stemwijzer and its security. On request of De Volkskrant, Madison Gurkha's Hans Van de Looy and Eilko Bos have performed this security investigation.

In his column More for less, the free world of Open Source (in Dutch), Walter Belgers writes about Open Source software. This column was published in NetOpus nr. 1 2007.
March 1 - Zakencircuit
In February, an episode of the television program "Zakencircuit" (business environment) was broadcast, in which Walter Belgers was one of the guests. You can view the broadcast on the zakencircuit.nl website. Click on "VIDEO" and then "Aflevering 10".
January 19 - Who controls your process network?
In the article Wie stuurt uw procesnetwerk? (Dutch), Walter Belgers writes about the dangers that the process industry faces. The article was originally published in Maintenance Management and also appeared in Solids Processing.
